Berman is looking for a full-time landscaper to be dedicated to a single-site in Sarasota. Schedule: Monday-Friday 7A-4P Landscape schedules are adjusted as needed based on weather conditions and client requests and may require evenings, weekends and holidays. Supervision Received: Reports to the Facility Manager Primary Responsibilities: · Operate landscape tools and equipment including mowers, edgers, weed eaters, blowers, and chain saws, etc. · Responsible for mowing lawns, trim, and edge around walks, beds, walls, etc. · Prune shrubs and trees · Remove leaves, branches, and other debris · Maintain flower beds · Power wash sidewalks · Pull weeds · Pick up litter and empty trash cans. · Inspect and repair irrigation systems · Maintain parking lots and sidewalks free of debris by blowing and sweeping · Perform assigned tasks for emergency preparedness and recovery efforts in the assigned areas. · May be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays to address urgent matters. Minimum Requirements: · 2 years related experience in related field. · Must be able to verbally communicate with supervisor and co-workers. · Must have experience operating various types of commercial landscape equipment including mowers and other gas powered equipment. · Must possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable by the company’s carrier. · Must be able to stand, walk, bend, crouch, climb, and assist in safely lifting up to 50 pounds of material. Must be able to work outdoors in all types of weather common in South Florida including extreme heat and humidity. REFERENCES WILL BE CHECKED AND VERIFIED CANDIDATE MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING TO BE CONSIDERED: - Clean Criminal Background - Successful passing of a drug screening will be required prior to employment offer - Must pass driving background check and be insurable thru our carrier
