Landscape Crew Member Daily Responsibilities: 1. Assist in daily preparation of trucks and equipment · Load gas cans, mowers, and other equipment. · Load plant materials as needed if required for the day. · Assist crew leader in preparation required for the jobs of the day. 2. Perform landscape installation and maintenance tasks on customer’s property Planting of perennial flowers, shrubs, trees, etc. Perform all tasks with spring operations such as leaf and debris removal, bed edging and mulch installation. Bed and lawn maintenance by hand if needed Mowing responsibilities including walk behinds and zero-turn riders Use blower to clear clippings from lawns, sidewalks, beds and driveways Safely use string trimmer to clip tight areas of the customer’s property Assist crew leader with all tasks associated with landscape installation or grounds maintenance. 3. Equipment care & maintenance Unload equipment, clean out truck/trailer by removing trash, debris, etc. Assist crew leader in preparation for the next day. Prep equipment as directed by crew leader. Education and experience: High School diploma or GED. Some experience in landscape maintenance and/or installation is helpful. Performance skills and qualifications: Ability to lift 60 lbs. plus consistently Use hand tools and small equipment effectively. Available to work a varied schedule (including some Saturdays, if needed) Stand and bend for 8 hours or more a day. Must have a valid driver’s license.
