Description
In the 1997 congressional investigation. Congress voted to reprimand the speaker of the house, republican Newt Gingrich. Took two years and Newt was found overwhelmingly guilty by a vote in congress of 395 to 28. 90% republicans voted yes. He was fined $300,000.00. It was the first and last time ever, a speaker was found guilty. He took millions of dollars illegally. He was proved to have lied to committee investigators.
The History teacher has never held any office since. Typical republican?
