Description NICA approved first aid course that meets coach level 1,2, and 3 requirements within 1 hr of definitive care. All day, one day. Description This course will satisfy the First Aid and CPR requirements for level 1, 2, or 3 NICA coach, ride leader, or team volunteer leading practices within 1 hour of definitive care (hospital). It is an 8 hour class for first aid with an optional 2 hour add-on for CPR. For more information on NICA First Aid Requirements, please visit the NICA First Aid Webpage. There are a many good lunch options within a 10 minute drive however we suggest bringing your own lunch to maximize time. Lunch is not provided at this event. MICL is underwriting a portion of costs for this event and we need it to fill up to the max of 12 students to avoid taking a big hit, so please help spread the word to other NICA folks! Please note there is a list of mandatory personal protection equipment that each participant must have - this is a requirement of SOLO the first aid instruction provider PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT *Students MUST have these items with them in order to attend any of our programs. If they arrive at the course without this gear, the instructor may have options to purchase. However, if they do not, you will be asked to leave for the safety of yourself and others in the class. 2 Face masks (cloth, surgical, N95, or KN95 – needs to fully cover your nose, mouth, and chin)Eye protection (glasses, goggles, face shield – sunglasses are okay for outside work but please have an alternative for in the classroom)Disposable gloves (for personal use only – will not be shared with others)Hand sanitizer (for personal use only – will not be shared with others)Lunch is not provided - however please check back for close-by lunch options to be listed here.
