Salinas - Landscape Laborer (Salinas) $16.00 - $17.00 DOE Work Schedule: Monday – Thursday (4 days a week) Northern Landscape Management, Inc is a full-service landscaping and construction company. We provide landscaping services and maintenance, construction, water management, tree care for commercial, municipal and residential customers. We currently have an opening for a Laborer in our Maintenance Department. This position starts the day in the morning at our Salinas yard and works with a crew leader on daily scheduled routes. All traveling will be completed in our company truck with our crew leader driving. Our job sites are located in the surrounding areas (Salinas, Monterey, Marina, Santa Cruz, Gilroy, Morgan Hill and San Jose) Job Duties: • Perform duties such as: mowing, edging, pruning, weeding, blowing, and removal of debris utilizing trained company techniques. • Work well with others in a team environment and be helpful and courteous to customers. • Assist with the loading and unloading of power equipment, tools, materials, and garden debris daily from Company vehicles. Physical Requirements: • Requires prolonged standing, bending, reaching, stooping and stretching • Ability to operate heavy equipment • Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds • Requires repetitive hand and wrist motions • Must physically be able to work in the year-around outdoor environment performing manual labor. Minimum Qualifications: • Experience preferred but not required; desire to learn trade and skill set • At least 1 year of verifiable work experience. • Must be physically able to work in the year-around outdoor environment performing manual labor. Additional Details: 32 hours per week, Weekly Pay Upon completion of 90-days worked employee receives uniforms, paid holidays, (3) sick days and after 6 months you start to accrue vacation at (1) week per year.
