General Contractor in Sioux Falls, SD is looking for a self motivated Construction Shop laborer. Job location is based in Sioux Falls, SD. Some travel may be required. Responsibilities: • Complete field requests for equipment, tools, consumables and in stock items. • Maintain, service and inventory of all tools. • Coordinate deliveries with the driver • Inventory and inspect materials as transferred to and from jobsites. • Operate a fork lift • Keep accurate log of maintenance and repairs all equipment and tools • Maintain company delivery schedule • Assist driver with loading/ unloading delivery truck • Clean/ repair incoming tools and return to inventory • Keep inventory stocked with bulk consumable materials • Assist with getting quotes for new purchases • Assist with cost savings analysis and evaluations for buying and selling new/ used equipment • Assist driver on deliveries as needed • Keep shop in a clean, safe manner at all times • Assist with general maintenance of existing facilities including fertilizing, mowing, snow removal. • Assist with seasonal snow removal and salt applications at various properties. Requirements: • Must be able to operate a forklift. • Must have Drivers License. • Must be able to operate general equipment such as skid loaders, telehandlers, snow plow, etc. • Must be able to secure loads on trailers, and haul heavy equipment.
