Staten Solar Corp. is growing and has an opening for Experienced Solar Installers in our production team. We are in San Jose but have various jobsites all throughout California. This is an opportunity to get on the respected growing renewable energy company industry with a highly respected company. We will provide an exciting work environment in Solar PV systems constructing projects across California. You must provide your experience in project management, motivation to succeed, ability to communicate with your team as well as work with them and desire to make our world a cleaner, greener place. We are seeking an energetic person to lead our team of solar installers and work alongside them. You will be part of a team that values high quality, professionalism, and personal growth. You will be working alongside a team of installation professionals, where your technical skills, customer relations, team building, and enthusiasm will be highly appreciated. Responsibilities: · Layout and Install residential and commercial PV systems · Co-ordinate site plans with team build requirements · Maintain safety for yourself and your team · Train junior crew in proper installation techniques · Maintain crew morale and promote good work ethic · Perform mechanical/structural mounting of racking, modules and electrical equipment · Perform Electrical wiring of solar array/system (AC and DC) · Perform voltage testing using appropriate PPE and procedures · Responsible for good inventory management on the site. Qualifications: · Strong background in solar industries, electrical, or construction (Preferred) · Ability to travel and work out of town as needed · Strong leadership qualities · 3 Work References · Problem solving · Ability to read plans · Roof work · Time management, planning, and work prioritization skills · Result Oriented · Physically able to climb ladders and lift in all weather · Valid Driver’s License · Able to pass pre-employment drug testing, physical and credit/background
