Description
I have several young Mystery Snails (~3 months old) available for rehoming. I had one adult who is getting pretty old, so I let two of her egg clutches hatch and took care of the babies, hoping a few would reach maturity. I didn't expect so many to survive and now have too many for my tank.
These snails are great additions to community freshwater aquariums! They get about as big as a golf ball and are very active and curious. They are a lot of fun to watch and can help eat some of the algae and scum growing in the aquarium. Mystery Snails live 1-2 years and need about 5 gallons of water per snail.
All the snails available to rehome are very active and healthy, with strong, smooth shells. They are the Blue variety of Mystery Snail (just the color). They've been raised on parboiled spinach, algae discs, and aquarium growth. They're big and strong enough to explore the entire tank and find food on their own. I'm asking a very 5mall rehoming fee, per 5nail. Slightly higher if you'd like me to deliver them to you outside of Santa Rosa
Pictures of the young Mystery Snails are attached. The large snail in some of the pictures is their mother, for comparison. I got her late in her life; the kids' shells should maintain their smoothness as long as they're cared for.
