The Legend at Bristlecone is hiring for a pool manger for the 2021 season. Our private pool facility is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day, position requires 30-40 hours a week during the season. Hours prior to and after the season are required in order to set up and close the pools for the season. If your looking for a fun, professional atmosphere this is the environment for you. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: • Monitor members using the facility • Create and manage staff schedule • Manage private and group swim lessons • Interview and hire staff for 2021 season • Enforce and explain rules as necessary • Respond appropriately to any emergency situation • Perform chemical testing and document results for 2 bodies of water four times a day • Attend all required staff meetings and training • Complete various cleaning tasks assigned by supervisor • Uniform and appearance must be clean and neat • Maintain a professional attitude Job Qualifications: • Must be able to maintain a CPO certification • Must be at least 18 years old • Current Red Cross/American heart CPR/AED certifications required • Current Red Cross or YMCA lifeguarding and first aid Certifications required • Strong Verbal Communication Skills • Experience as a lifeguard in an aquatic facility preferred • Experience in pool water testing and cleaning preferred
