Warehouse Laborer full-time position available in the Port of Tacoma looking to hire as soon as possible. Company is family owned and has been around since 1962. We are a busy wholesale business to the upholstery industry. Great positive team atmosphere. Great opportunity for advancement within the warehouse, such as shipping, receiving, and driving. Shift: Days Monday - Friday Comp: $16/HR with opportunities to increase within the first year of employment Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities Read order directions directing the puller to specific locations, then selecting the appropriate product and quantity for order processing or stocking. Select the appropriate product (reading the location and other descriptive information about the product) and the appropriate quantity required with accuracy. Identify product that is not fit for shipment because of: obvious damage, poor quality, or improperly located product. Operate equipment required for pulling/stocking/receiving such as a hand-scanner, forklifts, carts, pallet jacks. Assist in maintaining a clean, organized facility. Other duties assigned as needed. Requirements: Must be able to be on your feet all day Must be able to pass drug test Must have a clean driving record Must have a valid driver's license(no permits) and reliable transportation Must be able to lift and carry 70lbs with ease Basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure Must be able to show up Monday - Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm Must be able to work in a team environment Preferred: · Experience with UPS Workship is a plus · Warehouse Experience · Forklift/Pallet Jack experience · Driving/Delivery experience Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $16.00 per hour COVID-19 considerations: Masks, disinfecting wipes, and hand sanitizer are located through-out company.
