Career Fair @ Turkey DAM We are looking for enthusiastic waitresses, hostesses, busser, barbacks, bartenders and hookah attendants to provide Superior customer service to our guest and have fun while doing it. Open Positions Bartenders Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patronsInteract with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinksAssess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendationsMix ingredients to prepare cocktailsPlan and present bar menuCheck customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking ageRestock and replenish bar inventory and suppliesStay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experienceComply with all food and beverage regulationsBusser, Bar-backs Assisting with opening and closing duties, such as restocking the bar with garnishes, straws, and napkins, ensuring that Bartenders have clean towels, glassware, etc.Ensuring bar is well-stocked with ice, liquor, wine, and beer.Checking taps and appliances to confirm that they are working properly, making minor repairs, or changing out kegs, if needed.Keeping the bar clean by wiping down surfaces, sweeping and mopping, removing soiled glassware, scrubbing coolers and storage areas, and emptying trash receptacles.Learning about menu items and memorizing cocktail recipes.Taking orders, preparing drinks, bussing tables, opening tabs, and processing payments especially during peak hours.Speaking to customers, answering questions, handling complaints.Maintain records and report levels of usage to assist in the reordering process and ensuring that delivered items are stored properly.Waitresses, Hostesses Greet incoming and departing Guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact; escort them to assigned dining area; present menus; announce waiter's nameUse visual cues to seat Guests in either the bar or dining area depending on their preferenceInform Guest of current promotion and who will be serving them to ensure a smooth handoff to the service staffAnswer incoming calls to the restaurant and provide appropriate serviceManage the flow of Guests into the Dining and Bar areas, provide accurate wait times to incoming Guests if appropriateTend to special Guest needs and requestsObservant to Guests' needs throughout dining experience to ensure they receive high quality service (i.e. notice a drink refill is needed while seating another Guest and ensuring the drink is refilled prior to getting back to the door).Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety and alcohol control policiesHelp dining room staff by setting and clearing tables; replenishing water; serving beveragesIssue dining charges by verifying orders; calculating taxes; totaling bill for to-go ordersReceive payments by validating credit charges; approving checks; accepting currency; calculating and issuing change for ToGo ordersReconcile cash drawer by proving cash transactions; listing checks and credit card charges for to-go ordersContribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededHookah Attendant Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by being knowledgeable on all tobacco/no tobacco products offeredConnects with every customer by asking open-ended questions to assess needsAbility to learn and share expertise of tobacco products and trends to fit customers' needsMaintains an awareness of all tobacco knowledge, and current or upcoming product / trendsProcesses customer purchases, performs general cleaning dutiesAssists management in achieving store appearance and maintenance standardsParticipates in taking store inventory countsComplies with all established company policies and proceduresCollaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to managementOther duties as assignedSkills Resume and proven working experience as a bartenderExcellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinksComputer literacyKnowledge of a second language is a plusPositive attitude and excellent communication skillsAbility to keep the bar organized, stocked and cleanRelevant training certificateJob Type: Part-time Pay: Up to $40.00 per hour: Compensation includes hourly and tips.
