We recently adopted a one and a half year old dog from the humane society but we have sadly come to the decision that we aren't able to take care of her. We want to find her a good home instead of returning her to the shelter. Her name is Ladybird and she has the appearance of a German Shorthaired Pointer. She is around 49 lbs. She is a sweet, calm, mild mannered dog. As she gets comfortable in a home she becomes more bouncy and playful. She does great with other dogs, is tolerant of cats, loves rawhides and food dispensing toys. She does well on a leash and loves to take walks. She is micro chipped, spayed and up to date on all of her vaccinations. All of her records will be included. She is timid in new situations and of new people and is not fully potty trained. She needs a family who has lots of time, love and patience to help her become more confident. She had a whipworm infection which she is being treated for. She will come with the medication, a probiotic. anti diarrhea medication if is needed, and one month of a heartworm preventative. She was recently spayed so you will have to keep an eye on her incision but it seems to be healing fine. She will come with a 30lb bag of Science Diet Large Breed Adult dog food, a new training harness and a leash. We are requiring a 100$ rehoming fee to insure that she goes to a good home.
