BROCKTON, MA — Plymouth County Juvenile Court in Brockton has closed temporarily due to COVID-19 exposure.
According to the district's website, a member of the public who was last at the courthouse on March 23 has tested positive for COVID-19.
The courthouse will be cleaned during the closure and reopen on Thursday, March 25. Other courts in the Brockton Covett Courthouse remain open. Anyone with questions can contact the emergency help line at 833-91COURT.
The temporary closure of Plymouth County Juvenile Court comes during the state's 90-day plan for operations, which began on Jan. 8.
The plan, which will last through April 5, includes staffing court offices at 50% capacity, adopting a phased approach to resuming jury trials, developing jury trial priority plans, and expanding remote operations.
