Press release from the City of Buffalo: Posted on: March 23, 2021 Buffalo, NY – Mayor Byron W. Brown today encouraged City youth to apply for the Mayor's 2021 Summer Youth Internship and Employment Program by next Wednesday, March 31st deadline. The program is open to young people between the ages of 14 to 21. The initiative provides in-person and virtual employment, as well as work-readiness training. Students will work 20 hours per week over the course of the 6-week program, which begins July 12, 2021 and ends August 20, 2021. City youth can apply online at www.buffalony.gov/MSYAPP. No mail-in or in-person application drop offs will be accepted. City of Buffalo's Winter Parking Restrictions along Bus Routes Suspended Mayor Brown has lifted winter parking regulations on City bus routes. The winter parking restrictions were suspended on March 22nd due to the favorable weather forecast for the rest of the month. The City's winter parking regulations on bus routes are normally in effect until April 1st. The Broadway Market Seeing Strong Easter Season Sales Sixty holiday and seasonal vendors are now offering the Easter favorites every day through Easter Saturday, April 3rd. The Market is open daily this week 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. through Saturday, March 27th. Hours for Sunday, March 28th are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. This is a great time to pre-order and make arrangements for curbside pick-up.
