NEW HAVEN, CT — A New Haven woman has been charged following an anonymous complaint about puppies being thrown, kicked, and abused in several social media videos, according to police. Anizya Elliott was released on $10,000 bond following her arrest Sunday. Police said they received the anonymous complaint and responded to a Sherman Avenue home at 8 p.m. After investigation, police arrested Elliott on a charge of cruelty to animals.
