Zadie’s of the Oranges is a well-respected preschool program that collaborates with the East Orange and South Orange Maplewood School Districts. We are conveniently located at 280 South Harrison Street near Central Avenue. Zadie’s is dedicated to providing a high-quality preschool program in a nurturing, inspiring, and academically stimulating environment.
We are looking for a highly motivated preschool teacher who will not only love, respect, and value the learning process for children but will also become deeply engaged in the progress and development of each child.

Implement Tools of the Mind CurriculumMaintain a high-quality learning environmentDevelop strategies to guide positive behaviorsBuild good, open communication with children, families, and staffObserve and record children’s growth, development, and behavior using electronic portfoliosEnsure the learning environment is clean, hygienic, and safeUndertake administrative task as requiredRequirements:
Bachelor’s degree and at a minimum, a certificate of eligibility or certificate of eligibility with advanced standing for preschool through grade three or other equivalent preschool certification as outlined in N.J.A.C. 6A:9B
