Looking for a NON pro drummer, but a creative genius self taught... who can also play bass, maybe a bit of guitar, bass more important if possible....drums most important. loosey goosey drummer but in the pocket when required... jazz and punk infls Playing music for simple creative expression and fun...maybe take it further eventually.. now the important stuff... any age.....20s- 80s as long as you "think young" and outside the box. No covers, original music that is based on a range of Post punk/ Indie/ Alt/ New wave/ pysch/ vaudeville poofter/ no wave/ grunge/ abstract and improvisational helps as well. Influences huge and varied from gang of four, pavement, Curtis mayfield, sebadoh, sonic youth, ty segal, velvet underground, Sly and family stone, parliment funkadelic, Dinosaur Jr, Beatles, early Pink Floyd, The OC's, john cage, butthole surfers, modest mouse, yo la tengo, the make up, pixies, neutral milk hotel, guided by voices, archers of loaf, jesus lizard, royal trux, minute men, deer hoof, ramones....anything good, Yeah yeah yeahs, old jazz, old old country, 60's pop, 60's-70's soul, old movie scores.... + Albini, Subpop, Touch and go, SST, Drag City, Matador.....etc etc etc.... above all, a solid enthusiastic Friend into music and the creative process on a social level of exploration and with an OPEN open mind... that's about it!
