PHILADELPHIA — An ATM explosion in Philadelphia sent cash flying into the air and authorities are now investigating the incident.
According to NBC10, a Wells Fargo ATM on the 100 block of North Second Street was blown up around 4:15 a.m. Wednesday.
The outlet reports a neighbor heard someone say "we got three grand, let's go" and saw a vehicle drive off.
According to Fox29, a group of three men used two bombs to blast through the machine, then smashed the cash box with a sledgehammer.
Action News reports the suspects were gone by the time police arrived, and it's unclear how much money was taken.
Police and the ATF are investigating the incident.
