GLEN ELLYN, IL —In Glen Ellyn, the number of coronavirus cases has increased by 34 cases in the past week, according to information from the DuPage County Health Department (DCHD). The numbers reflect an increase over the previous week, in which Glen Ellyn saw 24 new coronavirus cases. On March 16, the village had reported 2,814 total cases of the new coronavirus. Those numbers had increased to 2,848 as of March 23, reflecting an overall increase of 1.2 percent. The previous week's increase was under .9 percent. DCHD recently began sharing the number of probable coronavirus cases in each municipality. In Glen Ellyn, there have been 174 probable coronavirus cases.
