Man Dies Days After Being Hit By SUV While Skateboarding: Coroner

GENEVA, IL — A 23-year-old St. Charles man who was hit by an SUV while skateboarding died early Wednesday morning, according to Kane County Coroner Rob Russell. Joshua Farwell was riding his skateboard on Route 25 just before 8:15 p.m. Sunday when he was struck by a Chevrolet Tahoe, authorities said. Witnesses performed CPR on Farwell on Sunday night until paramedics arrived, police said.
