Description

Press release from Cincinnati Public Schools: March 23, 2021 This Spring, Learning Links will provide even greater support for educators looking to fund inspired ideas. Offered by the Greater Cincinnati Foundation, this annual opportunity is an absolute CPS favorite. Traditionally, Learning Links has invited applicants to request up to $1,000 to support innovative student programming. For 2021, the maximum has been raised to $1,250. And, as always, a school may apply for up to two grants. Inspired by the children they know so well, educators are able to design ideal programs that enrich learning. All too often, however, their great ideas must go unfunded. Learning Links encourages such hopes and dreams. Through the years, scores of CPS teachers and staff have been awarded Learning Links grants. A sampling of program titles illustrates the creative approaches award winners have taken to meet a myriad of student needs: STEAMing Dragons Exploring Culture & Identity Through Art Poetry Slam & Poet Workshop Sensory Paths Rocketing, Reading and Loving IT Whether strengthening an existing program or launching a new one, Learning Links enables instructors to bring students programming from the heart. The 2021 deadline to apply for Learning Links is May 31. This press release was produced by Cincinnati Public Schools. The views expressed here are the author's own.
