Press release from the City of Douglasville: Post Date:03/23/2021 11:22 AM The Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) announced that Douglasville Planning Manager April McKown has been selected to participate in the 2021 Arts Leaders of Metro Atlanta (ALMA) program. This year's ALMA Workshop brings together 33 artists, creatives, designers, urban planners, and city and county officials to examine the role of arts and culture in community development and develop cross-sector responses to community opportunities. ARC also launched a regional artist survey to engage metro Atlanta artists, creatives, and culture bearers with experience or interest in civic, social, and community practice. Metro Atlanta artists working in all media are invited to visit publicinput.com/artists to take the 20-question survey by May 12.
