Construction Equipment Cleaner Start: 7 am End Time: 3:30 pm Scheduled Days: Monday – Friday Position Status: 40 hours Job Summary: Wash and detail construction machines Essential Functions: 1. Wash machines using high pressure water hose with steam 2. Clean machines to specific guidelines and procedures 3. Perform work within set work hours 4. Work within safety expectations 5. Comply with all company policies, procedures, and standards 6. Must be able to lift 50lbs 7. Must be able to work outside in extreme heat and cold Additional Responsibilities: 1. Follow oral and written instructions as set forth 2. Report and follow-up with immediate supervisor any reports or necessary records 3. Cross train in other areas within company as needed 4. Maintain equipment assigned and be responsible for maintenance and full working compacity of equipment 5. Be willing to learn to run forklift 6. Always conduct yourself in a professional manor Knowledge or Abilities: 1. Previous equipment washing a plus, but not required 2. Must be able to climb, step, balance and carry equipment or parts 3. Applicant must have consistent attendance 4. Must have the ability to work with hazardous chemicals, solvents, soaps, and other cleaning agents 5. Must be able to stand for long periods of time 6. Must be able to communicate effectively 7.
