Job Summary:
Serve as Equipment Operator I for the golf course at Sun City Palm Desert Community Association. Responsibilities include maintaining and landscaping the golf course using motorized, electrical, or hand equipment and tools. Ensure that all support and service is conducted and fulfilled in a manner consistent with the standards, goals and objectives of the Golf Course Superintendent and the Community Association.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. General maintenance: mow greens, tees, collars, approaches, and fairways and trim planters and trees, etc.
2. Knowledgeable in operating rough mowers.
3. Knowledgeable in operating motorized machines, blowers, hedge trimmers, weedeaters, chainsaws, etc.
4. Knowledgeable in set up procedure of changing cups on greens, servicing ball washers, etc.
5. Clean out utility cart and tools at the end of each workday.
6. Safely operates all equipment without endangering others or oneself
7. Sign in and out each day for work tools as required for your job.
8. Maintain accurate timekeeping records on the Time Log and the clock.
9. Perform other duties as directed by the Golf Course Foreman.
