JANITOR POSITION North American Security and Investigations is looking to hire Janitors for their contracts for the High Rise Buildings in the Los Angeles Downtown area. SALARY: • $15.00 TASKS • Responsible for the offices and common area. • Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them. • Gather and empty trash and separate the recycled items. • Service, clean, and supply restrooms. • Dust furniture, walls, elevators and equipment. • Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees. • Operate the freight elevator and trash/cardboard compactor. • Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specification. • Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures. • Meet all green janitorial standard training. • Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating system and to assist with any request from Management or supervisors. • Monitor building security and safety by performing such task as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created. • At least 6 months Janitor experience preferred.
