Sacramento Based Manufacturing and Distribution Company has 5 open positions available for immediate hire. Line Workers / Machine Operators / Quality Control (Manufacturing) / Warehouseman / Order Picker COVID-19 Information Our company remains open supporting e-commerce companies with packaging supplies. We operate in a large facility with very few employees that work in close proximity to one another. All employees wear masks to defend against the potential of the virus spreading. Job Description (Line Worker) * Work on manufacturing line boxing products as they move off the conveyor belt. * Inspect products on manufacturing line from defects * Setup area and machines before work, break down and clean after work * Must be able to work safely abiding to all safety guidelines of the company * Keep accurate charting and par's of items to be manufactured into stock * Must be able to anticipate what is needed before it's needed * Additional on the job training will be provided for additional tasks. Job Description (Order Picker) * Locate orders in warehouse and prepare for shipment * Use tape gun and bubble wrap to secure shipment if needed. * Keep picking area clean and in order. * Must be able to work safely abiding to all safety guidelines of the company * Must be able to anticipate what is needed before it's needed * Additional on the job training will be provided for additional tasks. Qualifications * Strong organizational skills. * Attention to detail and strong problem solving skills are a must. * Ability to speak, read and write in English is required. * Previous manufacturing experience is highly valued but not required; we will train for the right candidate. * High School Diploma required. *Physical demands: must be able to lift and carry boxes up to 50 pounds. Shifts Available: SHIFTS AVAILABLE M-F 9am - 5pm (full time) ORDER PICKER / DAY SHIFT M-F 2:30pm -11pm (full time) MACHINE OPERATOR / SWING SHIFT M-F 7:30pm -6am (full time) MACHINE OPERATOR/PACKER/ GRAVEYARD SHIFT When applying, make sure to email us your current resume and phone number.
