What you may not know is that Trumps involvement did NOT speed up vaccine development. Strains of the covid virus have even a huge threat to the world for decades. Scientists were working on a vaccine for the virus many years before the pandemic struck. We were half way there before covid hit the U,S. As much as trump supporters like to boast about operation warp speed, the majority of development for each of the vaccines was done OUTSIDE the U.S. Most of the development occurred in Europe. So even if we never had operation WS, we would still have a vaccine. The U.S. was helpful but not crucial to the development. Lastly, Trump never developed a plan to distribute the vaccine. What good is a vaccine if you have no plan to administer it. It’s like handing your army guns to fight the enemy but not giving them bullets. Trump has 10 months to devise a plan to distribute the vaccine and did nothing. He sat on his ass. He played golf 11 of his last 60 days in office. He pouted about losing the elation and di not leave his room the rest of the time. Trump is NOT a leader. In my opinion, Biden deserves far more credit for distributing the vaccine than Trump does for offering funding for the vaccine. Writing checks with taxpayer money is easy. Distributing 100 million doses way ahead of schedule takes intelligence. Credit to all of the hard working scientists and medical proffessionals who put in long hours to develop the vaccines. Lastly, you credit Trump for developing the vaccine and yet just a few months ago you were claiming that the virus is not real. Can you please make up your mind?
