About the Program Columbia River Ranch (est. 2005) is a mental health residential treatment facility with clinical services provided by Community Counseling Solutions. Columbia River Ranch (CRR) has 11 treatment beds and 1 short term crisis resolution bed. It is located on 5 acres of working farm land just outside of Boardman, Oregon. CRR features expansive views of the Eastern Oregon farm country from its full deck. A large yard allows outdoor recreation activities, as well as enabling the barn and farm animals to enhance their rural experience. The Ranch currently has ponies, chickens, and ducks on-site. About the Position We have an exciting opportunity for a Part-Time Lawn & Farm Technician. This position will require some general groundskeeping and landscaping experience. The ability to work with both individuals and the variety of farm animals on site is required. As a Lawn & Farm Technician, you will be completing duties and responsibilities in the areas of: groundskeeping, landscaping and farming. These duties include: • Maintaining exterior of facility appearance to ColumbiaCare standards • Preparing facilities for seasonal weather conditions and keep property to OSHA standards • Maintain the lawns and fields – make sure the growth is in good condition • Keeping an inventory of supplies to keep in the workshop • Must keep the irrigation systems in working order Work Schedule: Day shift, days and hours will vary based on the needs of the property Qualifications The ideal candidate will have a positive and cheerful personality, continually demonstrate professionalism and interpersonal skills to facility administrator, staff, clients and vendors. -General groundskeeping and Landscaping experience -Ability to operate standard power tools/yard equipment -Will need to climb ladders and have the ability to lift up to 60 LBS -Successful applicants MUST also have a valid Oregon driver’s license, maintain a safe driving record, and the ability to pass a DHS criminal background check. Pay & Benefits Starting at $16.50 per hour/DOE. ColumbiaCare offers a comprehensive benefits package for part-time employees. Medical/Dental/Vision coverage for employees working 30 hours a week. All Part-Time/On-Call hourly employees receive time and a half when working a holiday and are eligible to receive up to 5 days of sick time and up to 12 days of vacation per year (accruals earned are based on hours worked).
