Currently seeking a highly motivated and detail oriented individual who would be interested in a Custodian position within a school environment. This position completes a variety of tasks in the general care of assigned school and surrounding grounds, and provides and safe and clean environment for students, staff, and the community. Job duties include, but aren’t limited to: • Follows and maintains knowledge of all applicable District policies and procedures • Cleans areas as assigned (i.e. rooms, halls, offices, restrooms, cafeteria, parking lots, ect) • Collects recycling and trash from assigned areas • Performs routine maintenance and makes minor repairs (i.e. sinks, door handles, lockers, change light bulbs; below 12 feet, ect) • Cleans up spills (including bodily fluids) in a safe and appropriate manner • Creates work orders for maintenance repairs, and responds to special requests for custodial services from staff members with supervisor approval • Makes sure SDS sheets are in the proper locations throughout the buildings and kept up to date • Inspects playground equipment • Prepares building for start of day; including raising the flag • Attends work regularly and punctual • Maintains cleaning equipment and supplies • Interacts thoughtfully and courteously with students, staff and parents and resolves conflict in a professional manner • Maintains appropriate certifications and training hours as required • Secures building,; including locks, doors and windows, as assigned Must have a High School Diploma or GED Valid Drivers License with a clean driving record Experience in and knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment for school housecleaning is preferred, but not required Monday-Friday Swing Shift $12.76+/Hr (DOE) If you are interested in this position, please apply with Express Employment today! • Online at: www.expressroseburg.com • Call us at: 541-673-3332 – Phone Interviews available Immediately!! • Stop by our office: 741 NE Garden Valley Blvd (Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm) Check us out on Facebook and remember to LIKE us! www.facebook.com/roseburgjobs Take the first step to your new opportunities today!
