Let's Start A Band! DMV

I've always wanted to be in a band. I love music in general.. it is a big part of my life. I would like to start out as a cover band but also try and create our own music. I am a female singer/songwriter (26). As far as instruments go, I can play guitar and a little Alto sax. I am currently rusty. It's been a while since I've played. I would like to get back into it. This would be a great reason :) I have created my own acoustic songs in the past. Another side project of mine is to re-record and jazz them up to put on Spotify... I love all genres. (No joke.. pop, punk, rock, blues, jazz, indie, folk, etc.) I would prefer to make a band with more experienced members since I am new to this and have a lot to learn. Note: I have a day job.
