Water mitigation/emergency response company looking for water technicians to add to our team. The Mitigation Technician is a first responder on property loss situations and helps to mitigate the damages in both residential and commercial structures. This position consists primarily of performing emergency services in homes and businesses that are damaged due to water, mold, and fire. Work will consist of performing water mitigation, mold remediation, cleaning and water extraction from buildings, cleaning of fire/smoke damaged buildings, light demolition work and general clean-up. This is a labor-intensive position. On – Project Duties: • Establish initial customer face to face meeting – produce all paperwork and get signatures prior to setting equipment; Provide daily updates to customer through job completion • Assess job size and scope • Coordinate additional help with office staff if needed • Place needed equipment • Demo and clean up as needed • Identify if asbestos testing needs to be performed • Complete 12-hour update form • Obtain initial & daily readings – complete all necessary forms with this information Office Duties (with regard to Projects): • Update Moisture Mapper & Xactanalysis on all project information daily – if needed • Coordinate with Estimator on all new projects, review project details Shop Duties/Down Time: • Maintain organization and cleanliness of shop/garage (with assistance) • Maintain readiness of vans & trailers (with assistance) • Clean and maintain all equipment (with assistance) • Advise management of any repairs needed on equipment or vehicles • Maintain Inventory of all products & supplies What you need: • Initiative & good work ethic • Must enjoy fast-paced work environment and problem solving • Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs. or more • Must expect to work a flexible schedule • On-call Schedule rotation required • Basic computer skills are mandatory • IICRC Certified techs preferred but willing to train and certify the right person • Candidates must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation • Background check required What we offer: • Competitive wages and full benefits package • Opportunity for incentive pay when responding to after hour calls or upselling other services • Supportive office culture with an undeniable teamwork attitude • Company paid opportunity to expand on your industry certifications and education Benefits: • Vacation • Holiday Pay • Sick Days • Leaves of Absence • Group Insurance Plans • 401K
