Loot Rentals is hiring for a part time warehouse assistant for our Austin HQ! This position will work under the supervision of our Warehouse Manager to keep our rental inventory in impeccable condition, fulfill client orders, and maintain cleanliness and organization of our 23,000+ sq ft of warehouse space. There will also be occasional deliveries to jump in on. The ideal candidate will bring energy, enthusiasm, and a great attitude to the Loot team. Responsibilities: Warehouse assistance *Stage, load, and unload delivery trucks with furniture rental items — furniture may include: sofas, tables, bookshelves, rugs, plants, and chairs *Clean and prep furniture rental items before delivery *Account for every item going out on delivery *Clean and check-in furniture rental items upon delivery return *Regular maintenance and inventory checks to keep items in great condition *General warehouse organization Occasionally helping with deliveries *Lifting furniture rental items in and out of box truck *Sometimes carrying rental items more than 100 feet *Sometimes carrying rental items up stairs Qualifications: *Must have open availability 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM M-F (great for the Uber + Lyft driving crowd!) *Must be available to work at least two weekends per month, and be able to start as early as 7:00 AM or as late as 11:30 PM those weekends *Must have reliable transportation to and from work *Must be able to regularly lift 50+ lbs *Excellent attention to detail *Respectful of others *Great customer service *High school diploma or greater This position starts at $17/hour for approximately 20 hours per week (with an opportunity for additional hours during peak event season).
