Job Summary Roustabout is an entry level position that works in a variety of crafts and disciplines. This position assists the journeyman level supervisor in the set-up take-down and performance of simple and complex job tasks. Summary of Essential Job Functions Responsible for the use and care of tools and equipment commonly employed on industrial construction sites. This can vary according to the craft and the discipline. Responsible for assisting the journeyman in maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, installation and construction of industrial equipment and systems found in an industrial or commercial environment. Complies with all safety policies and the applicable safety handbooks, leads, and educates fellow employees in safe work ethics, practices, and behaviors. Minimum Education and Experience Experience in construction Basic knowledge of hand tools High school diploma or equivalent Clean driving record Must possess simple writing and mathematical skills Willing to take instruction and work in a team setting Ability to pass background check and drug screening Certifications Valid driver’s license required Location: Floresville, Texas Duration: 6 months - Potentially full-time after project completion Schedule: 10 hours/day, 4 days/week
