Location: Portland, OR (97211) FT/PT Status: Full Time Shift: Night (starts 3:00 pm) Hourly Rate: $21.00 United Salad Company is a locally owned, very successful regional produce distributor and is one of the largest independently owned produce companies in the Pacific Northwest. Sign On Bonus: $2,000 after 4 months on the job and an additional $2,000 after 8 months! Responsibilities: • Interacting with dispatch and quickly communicating truck assignments when requested • Ensuring truck fleet is fueled and ready to go out on their route • Safely place trucks into locations throughout the yard • Make shuttle runs to distribution centers when necessary • Drop and hook trucks in preparation for going out on a route • Promotes & maintains a flexible, cooperative, team-oriented & customer-focused attitude with co-workers & other departments • All other duties as requested or assigned Qualifications: • Valid Class A CDL and medical card • Ability to drive a manual stick shift • Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment • Ability to read and follow instructions • Clean motor vehicle driving record • All job offers for this position are contingent upon passing a criminal background check, drug screen and company road test.
