Stony Brook Medicine's Radiology Department is conducting a research study to better understand pain associated with disc herniation. Who we need: Volunteers with a radiologically confirmed (MRI or CT) disc herniation in their spine.  Ages 18-60  Must be drug free What it involves:  Brief physical exam  Blood draw  Completing self-report forms  PET/MRI session at Stony Brook Location: Participation will be located at the Clinical Research Center, 33 Research Way, Setauket and the Stony Brook University Hospital Imaging Center.
