Description
I am looking to rehome my female lutino cockatiel. She is about 3 years old now. She was sort of an accident from my pair of cockatiels. I am not a breeder but was told that it is beneficial for them to go through their cycle, lay eggs, and whatnot. I was not looking for another bird to care for, so I monitored the eggs carefully and tried to prevent any from hatching; however, I missed one and that is how we ended up with Pterra, the female lutino cockatiel that I am looking to rehome. As for her parents, the mother is also lutino and the father is pied. She is very loved and is well taken cared for but she is not tamed nor is she handfed. She needs training.
She just started doing the flock call constantly, which tells me that she is looking for or wanting a mate. She has laid unfertilized eggs before at the bottom of her cage, but I do not want to breed this bird and the flock call is starting to affect my work productivity since I work from home now. I attached a picture of the cockatiel family - the one circled in red is the one to be rehomed. There is a rehoming fee - please e-mail me with a serious offer if interested.
