Potty trained dog/pup wanted

We have cats and we have an autistic 5 year old. We are looking for a dog that can get along with them. Preferably a short hair because while I love dogs, I have a slight allergy to them. Low hair/fur is tolerable - also a medium+ sized. Thank you in advance!
