Description
Meet Gus, 6 year old male shepherd mix. Neutered. Excellent watch dog. Gets along with other dogs as well as cats. Very mild mannered. Would do best with big yard. He's a big goof. Rehoming to someone that has better resources than we do. He is a big guy and hairy! He needs brushed daily. He is free! But is due for a vet visit for shot updates and to address the bump on his hip. He will come with everything we have for him, includes flea meds (that seem to be working everywhere except his tail),brushes, toys, food storage bowl, anti bark collar, leash etc. Again, there is no rehoming fee because -he is big. He is hairy. He needs to see a vet. We were not fully aware of the maintenance required for this breed when we adopted him 5 years ago and it's gotten to be too much for my son and I. He's very sweet and has never shown aggression. NEVER has had an accident. He'll let you know when he needs to go out by staring/ following you around. Will concern with excitement when he hears "outside"? Scratches to come back in, barks once or twice if he waits too long. Knows basic commands, sit, stay, go lay down, outside, paw. Anxious around new people but only at home. Has always done fine going other places. Rarely gets car sick (maybe 3 or 4 times in 5 years) I think I covered everything. Contact through email. Prefer to meet at local park due to his skittishness with new people.
