I will have two preschool/pre-k spots available beginning August 30th for children ages 2-5. I am an established provider with over 25 years of childcare experience. I have been running my in home center for over 15 years and have excellent references. From ages 2-4 (Preschool) the curriculum consists of colors, shapes, letter identification, letter sounds, number identification, counting, vocabulary development, early reading, fine motor, and gross motor skills. From ages 4-5 (PreK) we focus on all the skills needed for kindergarten including things they will learn in kindergarten. We do daily writing practice, daily reading (which includes 10 weekly sight words and a weekly leveled reader book- that they take home each week), math skills (sorting, counting, 3d shapes, patterns, basic addition and subtraction, etc.). All ages are also taught manners, following directions, social skills as well as they all have daily resources (art, listening center, music, STEM, and language development). I also incorporate science experiments and observations and social studies activities throughout the week as well. We have a family oriented childcare center. We love to involve parents through parties and activities geared to getting everyone together (safely of course considering Covid). We also do seasonal photographs for families as well at no additional charge. I provide monthly calendars with our monthly menu (I serve breakfast, lunch, and snacks) and any scheduled activities for the month. I am open from 7:30am-5:30pm Monday-Friday. I charge $35 a day for 3-5 days a week or $50 a day for 1-2 days a week. I am located in Chester off of Old Centralia Rd.
