Wanting to adopt a dog

We've been looking to adopt a dog for our family but it seems there are only a small handful of breeds of dogs available in the area. We don't want a pit bull or any of the multiple poodle mixed breeds being passed off as "designer dogs." There seems to be a lot of huskies and shepherds too. What we would most like to find is a rough Collie (like Lassie) or an Irish Setter. We'd also be happy to have a Dalmatian or a Weimaraner or a Rhodesian Ridgeback. If you're looking to find a good home for your dog and it is one of the above listed breeds, please contact us with pics and a description and let's talk. We do currently have 2 friendly neutered dogs and 3 indoor cats as house pets so it must be friendly to other animals. We're open to paying a reasonable rehoming fee but the amount will depend on age, of you've had it fixed and vaccinated, etc. Seriously, nothing against pit bulls or pit mixes being called anything but pit bull mixes. We've provided a loving home to several of them over the years, but now we really have our hearts set on getting one of a few specific pure breeds. Let us know what you have. Thanks.
