Bart is a handsome 75# puppy. He is 1-2 years old, house trained and walks well on a leash. He knows sit, shake, and down. He also has training with stay, place and break (or OK) however needs more to be consistent. He is not destructive of household items but will chew on his toys. As a strong chewer he needs toys that can hold up.
Bart’s ideal home will with be with someone, or a family with older children, that is active and willing to walk or run him every day. A yard where he can play fetch, tug of war and chase would be good as well. He’s a lot of fun to play with. I would not recommend cats because he is very interested in squirrels and bunnies so would probably chase and try to catch. Also he would be too much for smaller, older dogs. He is too much for our smaller, older dog hence the need to re-home. He does well with dogs closer to his size and energy who are willing to correct him if he is too much. He likes playing in water but not a pool.
