THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR CONTRACTORS I am disabled and have a fixed income. I can pay in cash, but cannot afford 30 percent added to a job for some guy to make a referral. With that said I am fixing my house a little at a time. What I have is an end joist (?) that the floor joists attach to in the crawl space(which is over 5 feet high) and a small deck is anchored to on the outside. That means detaching a small deck 5' x 15' and taking off a piece of Hardie Plank siding on the outside to access. Maybe jack the floor up and nail in the 2 ' x 8" piece of lumber (again it might be called the end joist), replace the Hardie plank, and that job is done. If you want other smaller jobs I have drywall, painting, and interior doors to do as well. YOU MUST HAVE A TRUCK AND HOME DEPOT IS ONLY TWO MILES AWAY.
