Manufactured Home Community is Hiring for Grounds and Maintenance Person We are looking for a Groundskeeper to help maintain the grounds and the Common Area Facilities and Amenities. Employees will sometimes be exposed to inclement weather conditions and deal with urgent issues outdoors. We are looking for an individual who is a responsible self-starter who works well independently and with a team. Seasonal Position- Potential to become Permanent Duties include but are not limited to the following: -Grounds & property maintenance. -Projects, that may include digging, planting, painting, carpentry, fence repairs, putting up street signs, replacing streetlights as needed. -Pool and Spa Maintenance -Landscape waste pick up -Maintaining Shop and Equipment in Clean, Safe and Working Condition - Working with underground utilities such as sewer, water and irrigation lines -Some overtime opportunities may be available Candidate Requirements: -Must possess a Clean, Valid Driver’s License and Reliable Transportation -Must be able to comfortably lift objects weighing as much as 50 pounds and be able to Push and Pull Objects weighing as much as 100 Pounds, or Heavier weights with the use of proper equipment and assistance from other staff members. -Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, climb and to work in standing and sitting positions, sometimes for extended periods of time. -Must be capable of Safely and Comfortably using Ladders as tall as 8 Feet. -Must be Capable of using a variety of Hand and Power tools, including but not limited to, Lawn Mowers, Blowers, Trimmers, Weed Eaters, Chain Saws, Tractors, Rakes, Shovels, Hoes, Brooms, Drills, Saws, Basic Maintenance Tools. Knowledge or Experience in any of the following would be beneficial: Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry or Other Trades, Utility Maps, Lift Station Operations, Landscaping Design and Irrigation, Bilingual.
