DOE) Job Brief Responsible to receive, inspect, and record shipments with raw material or products. Responsible for unloading packages and checking their contents to ensure they match the orders. Must bhave adequate physical strength to unload shipments as well as clerical skills to update records and follow-up with suppliers. The goal is to ensure that we receive the correct packages and stock them appropriately. Responsibilities • Collaborate with procurement staff to list expected deliveries. • Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt. • Unload packages from incoming trucks. • Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged. • Verify packages according to orders and invoices (quantity, quality, price, etc.). • Contact Purchasing/Quality if a mistake is identified. • Label deliveries and allocate them to their designated place. • Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control. Requirements • Proven experience as a receiving clerk or similar position. • Experience in operating forklifts. • Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data. • Solid understanding of health and safety regulations. • Basic math and recording abilities. • Excellent organizational skills. • Great communication and interpersonal abilities. • Keen eye for detail. • Good physical condition. • High School diploma or equivalent. 2) Material Handler ($17-20/hr. DOE) Duties to include: • Coordinate and expedite flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between sections or departments according to production and shipping schedules or department priorities. Compile and maintain manual or computerized records. • Reviews related information and confers with department supervisors to kit material and have ready for the production team. • Compiles and maintains manual or computerized records, such as material inventory, in-process production reports, and status and location of materials. • May move or transport materials from one department to another manually. • Monitor and control movement of material and parts from stock room or outside stock. Maintain stock levels and locations. Requirements: • High School Diploma or equivalent • Working knowledge of computer programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
