Well, it appears that things may be somewhat different than they have been telling us for all these years. There is reason to suspect that the next Cascadia earthquake, if it really busts loose in all its glory, will potentially be much more destructive to Salem, Portland, Olympia and Seattle than they have been stating. Now, to prepare properly for just the Cascadia earthquake event which they have been saying for years is coming our way, a person really needs to have good information available to them. It helps to know if the epicenters for the earthquake event will be far offshore in the Pacific Ocean, or if they will be something like right up the Interstate-5 corridor.
