HOUSEKEEPER, LIVE-OUT (MILLBROOK, NY) Division: Domestic Hospitality Location: Millbrook, NY Salary: DOE Job Title: Housekeeper, Live-out (Millbrook, NY) Job Description A private Family seeks an experienced Housekeeper to take care and clean their residence located in Millbrook. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, energetic, and a team player, with a “can-do” attitude. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: • All aspects of general housekeeping, deep cleaning, and household organization • Laundry duties; includes ironing, care of delicate fabrics, steaming, packing/unpacking for travel, dropping off dry cleaning, seasonal wardrobe maintenance • Coordinating household services; liaising with contractors and vendors • Caring for fine furniture, art, and antiques; polishing of and care for all silver, brass, china, etc. • Managing all aspects of household inventories including procuring household supplies, grocery shopping, wine orders, etc. • Assisting with related duties including greeting guests, answering phone calls, running errands, completing special requests, etc. Schedule: the schedule will be based on the owner’s schedule and will include weekends and holidays as required. Compensation: Salary is generous but depends on experience Benefits: Benefits package included Requirements • Minimum 3 years related experience working within a private residence • Excellent references from both current and previous employers • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal • Experience working with rotary iron a plus • Professional mindset and the utmost discretion • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Excellent cooking skills • Strong ability to take direction and work as part of a team • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills • Must be able to schedule vendors and contractors • Flexibility with hours and scheduling • United States work authorization
