Cleaner/Spotter The Cleaner/Spotter of an Environmentally Friendly Lapels Plant is responsible for ensuring the overall production quality and profitability of garment cleaning. We typically look for a person with three (3) years of industry experience, who not only has prior knowledge of running a Dry Cleaning Plant, but is also open minded to seeing the benefits of using the Lapels program and systems of production. However, we can train the right candidate if needed. At Lapels, a Cleaner/Spotter will daily be responsible for such items as: • Professional Spotting – including recognizing the type of stain and either pre spotting or post spotting that garment • Running dry cleaning loads • Light finishing of garments • Overseeing finishers & pressers to ensure quality work at profitable production levels • Overall control of work • Sorting of garments to proper stations throughout Plant
