Plenty Of Overtime Available In person Interviews - Temp to Perm after 60 days… Union promotion is activated and you will get a pay increase to $22.90 an hour. This increases yearly. It is also benefits day one of being permanent... - Hours: “60 Day Training: 6am - 6pm” after the 60 day training you can choose either the Day Shift 6:00am to 6pm or Night Shift 6:00pm to 6am PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: SAFETY Follow and enforce all safety rules and procedures, training, and initiatives Maintain good housekeeping in all work areas Participate on safety teams QUALITY Perform laminator quality checks Compliant with the Layered Process Audit requirements Check measurements of shingles Ensure bundles are properly stacked when exiting autocatchers Evaluate viewing board Monitor and report unusual or suspect material issues Remove off-specification shingles from line Ensure that no granule build-up is falling onto bundles Remove splices Monitor levels and application of laminate and seal SKILLS AND ABILITIES Must be able to read Human Machine Interface and understand control of Accumulator Conveyor Must be able to read, write, and speak English Must be able to work at a reasonably rapid pace in a high-speed manufacturing environment Must be able to work all shifts including nights Regular attendance, timeliness, and scheduling flexibility are required Must have the ability to do basic mathematical calculations Must be able to work with a computer to perform basic data entry Must be able to obtain a forklift license EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE Minimum high school diploma or equivalent ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT Exposure to temperature extremes Exposure to sounds or noise levels that may be uncomfortable Exposure to dust, dirt, fiberglass particles, and fumes Prolonged standing for 8 – 16 hour shifts Mandatory overtime as required Repetitive movements Frequent climbing, bending, twisting, and lifting Handle, control, and feed product Ability to frequently move 40-100 pounds (lift over 40 pounds only with a team member)
