Job Description: We are a local pest control company in immediate need of a full-time termite technician. Technicians must have the experience and ability to manage a high volume of day to day information and tasks that are related to selling and producing jobs. Must have the discipline to work in a small office environment – this is not a corporate job or work environment. Potential candidates must be very detail-oriented and self-motivated. Must be willing to learn all aspects of pest control and be a career-minded individual. We are willing to train the right person who has the qualities we are looking for: commitment, dedication, integrity, and loyalty. If you are going to school part time or have a part time job on the side, this job is not for you. We are in search of someone who is dedicated, shows up to work every day, on time, and with no drama brought from home – someone who is committed to giving 100% and making this job a career. Potential Candidates must: • Have a professional, groomed appearance. A clean shaved face is required for PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) usage. Must take pride in your personal appearance and the upkeep and care of company property, including vehicles and tools • Sales experience is a plus, but not necessary; we are willing to train • Communicate well and follow both verbal and written instructions • Must adhere to all safety standards and established work practices • Be a problem-solver and have customer service skills/experience • Should be well organized and able to adjust to changing job requirements, and have the ability to work independently • Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations • Have a good work ethic and stable work history – no “job hoppers” • Have the ability to or enjoy working outdoors year round, in all weather conditions • Be able to work 40+ hours a week, Monday through Friday and some Saturdays • Be physically fit, able to pull a hose, carry a backpack sprayer and lift 50+ pounds. Cannot be afraid of heights or small dark spaces, as we do work in crawl spaces. • Have a reliable form of transportation, valid driver’s license and clean driving record that meets our company’s insurance requirements • Pass a criminal background check and drug screen – NO FELONIES Medical benefits, as well as holidays, paid vacations, and overtime are available.
