We are looking for motivated individuals who enjoy working outdoors in a physically demanding, hands-on environment. Compensation is based on experience and qualifications. Entry level compensation without former experience starts at $14.50/hr. Responsibilities: Work with a team to complete projects at both residential and commercial properties Assist crew leader by following directives on job site Operate chain saws, chipper, stump grinder, trucks, trailers and other equipment Reposition brush, logs and debris efficiently either manually or by using equipment Engage in thorough cleanup of properties when tree service is completed Maintain equipment Learn and use proper rigging and climbing techniques Wear PPE (personal protective equipment) at all times while on job site Qualifications: Valid driver’s license. Must have ability to obtain CDL. Ability to repeatedly bend, climb, kneel and lift 50 lbs Ability to work in extreme weather conditions for prolonged periods of time Must pass pre-hire drug test/random drug tests Must have transportation to/from work No smoking during working hours Staunton Tree Service is a DRUG FREE, NON-SMOKING workplace.
